Each week our Fantasy Basketball experts will give fantasy owners their top choices for players to pick up for all leagues, as well as some players to consider in deeper leagues. If you have any Fantasy Basketball questions for our experts feel free to post them in post them in our Fantasy Sports Forum.
Add in all leagues
With Parker out for the rest of the regular season, Hill should have plenty of opportunities to put up some numbers. Hill should be owned in all leagues at this point. (about 55% owned)
We think a lot of people were holding off on picking up Thornton because of the fear that Chris Paul would come back and steal his value. With the latest news about Paul being out at least 2 more weeks, we say go ahead and pick up Thornton. There is no reason for Paul to risk hurting himself again and there is a chance he just shuts it down for the rest of the season. (about 60% owned)
With Kenyon Martin probably out for the rest of the regular season, Andersen should see a few more minutes. Andersen was already a good block and rebound role player, so this news only makes him better. (about 60% owned)
Lee has been inconsistent the entire season, but he has been putting up solid numbers lately. We think he will continue to be inconsistent, but we love his upside and his blow up potential. (about 60% owned)
We aren’t sure if Outlaw is going to continue to see starter minutes, but he is worth keeping an eye on. Outlaw makes a lot of 3’s and should give good point and rebound numbers as long as he gets the minutes. (about 15% owned)
Add in deeper leagues
Richardson has been on fire lately. We doubt he will keep it up, but you might want to consider riding out this hot streak. He should be a good source of points and you know he is going to put up a ton of 3’s. (about 30% owned)
Miller has put together a nice stretch of games lately. He should continue to see plenty of minutes due to the Joakim Noah injury, and if you need a big man Miller could fill that void. (about 50% owned)
Ever since Allen Iverson left the 76ers, Holiday has had some really good games. He has been inconsistent, but it looks like the starting job is his. He should play about 30 minutes a game for the rest of the season. (about 15% owned)
With Alston out of the picture, Arroyo has found himself in the starting lineup. He should see close to 30 minutes a game and could put up ok numbers, just don’t expect anything amazing. (about 5% owned)
Players to Keep an eye on
Hill is another young guy that has seen his minutes go up over the last week. We aren’t sure if he will continue to play over 25 minutes a game, but it is worth keeping an eye on. (about 5% owned)
The young big man for the Timberwolves has been getting more minutes lately and he has been taking advantage of them. We aren’t sure if this will continue, but you need to keep a close eye on him. He could be a sneaky pick up. (about 5% owned)
