Each week our Fantasy Baseball experts will give fantasy owners their top choices for players to pick up for all leagues, as well as some players to consider in deeper leagues. If you have any Fantasy Baseball questions for our experts feel free to post them in post them in our Fantasy Sports Forum.

Add in all leagues

Jonathan Sanchez SF | SP

Sanchez had a decent second half of last year, and he is off to a great start so far this year. We think he will have a break out year, and he should be owned in all leagues. (about 75% owned)

Ricky Romero TOR | SP

Romero is one of the hottest pitchers in the league right now, and should be owned in all leagues at this point. We aren’t sure if he will keep it up, but with a good K per innings pitch ratio we think Romero has huge potential. (about 75% owned)

Carlos Villanueva MIL | RP

With Hoffman and Hawkins having ERA’s over 11, the Brewers might have to make some changes in their bullpen. Villanueva has pitched great so far this year, and we wouldn’t be shocked if he ends up taking over the closer role. (about 10% owned)

Cameron Maybin FLA | OF

Maybin was a big sleeper last year but he didn’t really have much fantasy value. He is off to a good start this year but for some reason not many people are picking him up. If you need help in OF and are looking for some speed, then go ahead and pick up Maybin. (about 30% owned)

Ty Wigginton BAL | 1B,2B,3B

He isn’t exactly the youngest player in the league, but he is off to a great start with the O’s this year. The thing we like most about Wiggington is his position eligibility. He is the perfect guy to stash on your bench and plug in when one of your regulars has an off day. (about 15% owned)

Casey McGehee MIL | 2B,3B

There are a lot of things we like about McGehee, starting with his second and third base position eligibility. We also can’t help but like his numbers thus far, batting almost .400 with 4 HR’s and 12 RBI’s. He should be owned in all leagues at this point. (about 75% owned)

Chase Headley SD | 3B,OF

Headley has been a third base sleeper ever since he came into the league a couple years back, but he has yet to put up fantasy relevant numbers. This might be the year that Headley breaks out, he is off to a great start and we think he is worth a roster spot at this point. (about 55% owned)
