Our weekly waiver wire takes a look at the top pickups for Week 10 of the NFL season. Many of these players are still available in a majority of leagues and could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster. Others might be worth stashing on your bench, or are simply just players to add to your watch list. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

Alfred Blue HOU | RB

Arian Foster left the game Week 9 with a groin injury and it appeared to be somewhat serious. We all knew that it was only a matter of time before Foster went down and now some Foster owners are going to have to pay the price for not stashing Blue on their bench. We know that Blue is a capable runner and he should have decent short term value if Foster misses time. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Charles Sims TB | RB

Sims wasn’t active Week 9, but all of the reports about his rookie have been positive and it appears that the Bucs are excited to get the ball in this guys hands. At this point I think Tampa Bay is done with Doug Martin and it’s possible that it could be the Bobby Rainey and Sims show for the rest of the season. Sims is an extremely high upside add right now and he should be owned in all leagues until we see what he can do. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Terrance West CLE | RB

The Browns running back situation has been a mess all year and the coaching staff threw us another curve ball Week 9 when West had the most carries. Ben Tate started the game, but West ended up having a heavier workload. At this point it does appear that West is the running back to own in Cleveland and as long as he runs well he should hold onto the job for the rest of the season. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Tre Mason STL | RB

At this point I think it’s clear that Mason is the Rams best running back. The Rams will continue to use a committee approach, but unless Mason really starts to slip then he should get the majority of the touches. Even if Mason will not make your starting lineup over the next coupled of weeks, I still think he is well worth an add just because of his long term upside. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Daniel Thomas MIA | RB

The Fins will more than likely use a committee approach if Lamar Miller missing any time, with Damien Williams and Thomas splitting carries. If I had to pick I think Thomas has a slightly higher upside, but I don’t love either of them as even a short term solution. If you are desperate for a running back than go ahead and pick him up, just don’t’ use a great waiver number to get either of these guys. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Adrian Peterson MIN | RB

The Peterson trial is moving through the court system and there is a chance that we see him back in uniform this season. He is expected to take a plea deal and this could mean that his court issue would be behind him with just a slap on the wrist. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the league will not punish him further, but Peterson is certainly worth an add until we see how this ends up. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Theo Riddick DET | RB

Riddick is coming off of his bye and I still like his upside even though Reggie Bush and Joique Bell will more than likely be healthy. Riddick is a talented young player and the Lions have already mentioned that they want to continue to give him some carries. There is also a good chance that Bell or Bush will get injured again and this would give Riddick solid value in PPR leagues. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Wide Receivers

Martavis Bryant PIT | WR

I didn’t know if this guy was for real after his first two big games, but at this point Bryant seems to be legit. He has quickly proven to be one of Big Ben’s favorite targets and at this point I think this youngster needs to be owned in all leagues. He is the perfect compliment to Antonio Brown and I think he will have solid value for the rest of the way. (about 45% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Allen Hurns JAX | WR

The rookie receiver has certainly had his ups and downs this year, but let’s remember he is a rookie receiver on a bad offense. All of that being said though, he is still a talented young receiver that needs to be owned in more leagues. If you are looking for a young receiver to take a gamble on then I am a fan of picking up Hurns. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Taylor Gabriel CLE | WR

Gabriel has slowly gained more looks on the Browns offense and at this point he is officially on the fantasy radar. The rookie receiver has been targeted 26 times over the last 5 weeks and it’s clear that he has the trust of Brian Hoyer. Gabriel might take a hit once Josh Gordon comes back, but I would be surprised if the Browns take too many targets away from this talented youngster. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Quarterbacks

Robert Griffin III WAS | QB

Say what you want about RGIII, but he still has a big upside in the fantasy world. Even though he didn’t look all that great Week 9, I still think he has the potential of being a top 12 fantasy quarterback down the stretch. The Redskins have too many weapons on that offense to not put points up on the board. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Ryan Tannehill MIA | QB

Tannehill was extremely efficient Week 9 and the Dolphins offense has looked good as of late. We liked this young quarterback coming into the season and he is starting to live up to his potential. The Dolphins as a whole are headed in the right direction and Tannehill is a big part of their recent success. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Tight Ends

Mychal Rivera OAK | TE

Rivera has been a target monster over the last two weeks and it’s possible that he is on the verge of a breakout. The 2nd year player out of Tennessee has 20 targets over the last couple of weeks and I like his upside moving forward. The Raiders are an impressive 0-8 on the season, so it’s a pretty safe bet that they will be playing from behind and throwing a good bit each game. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Defenses

Dallas DAL | DEF

If you haven’t noticed yet I almost always include the defense that is playing Jacksonville as a pickup and play. Blake Bortles has shown some promise, but he is still an interception machine. The Cowboys should be a safe defense play Week 10. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

Pittsburgh PIT | DEF

The Steelers D isn’t what they used to be and they did have some injuries Week 9, but I still like their chances against the Jets next week. The Jets turn the ball over at least a couple of times a week and you have to think that the Steelers D should put some points on the board. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play
