Each week during the NFL season FST brings you our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, which breaks down players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. Let’s take a look at some players at each position that might be worthy of scooping off the waiver wire heading into Week 10 of the NFL season. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

Isaac Redman PIT | RB

It doesn’t seem to matter which Steelers running back is the starter, they just keep putting up big numbers. Due to injuries Redman got a chance to start week 9, and he went off for over 150 yards and a touchdown. Until we know for sure how the Steelers running back mess is going to shake, out I think Redman, Mendenhall, and Dwyer are worth owning in most leagues. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Joique Bell DET | RB

The Lions offense is starting to get things going, and Bell continues to prove to be a big part of their game plan. He is currently in a time share with LeShoure, but he is getting close to half the carries and he also gets a ton of targets in the passing game. Bell is a versatile player and I see no reason why they will not continue to give him around 10-12+ touches a game. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all PPR leagues

James Starks GB | RB

I have been saying it ever since the Benson injury, “I don’t think Green is the answer for the Packers”. Green makes sense as maybe the third down back, but they need a guy like Starks to handle the early down work. Week 9 was the first week that Starks saw decent playing time, and he had an ok game. He was outplayed by Green week 9, but I still think Starks is going to continue to get the majority of the carries for the Packers. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Taiwan Jones OAK | RB

The young second year player out of Eastern Washington should see an expanded role for the Raiders for the next couple of weeks. The Raiders lost their top 2 running backs week 9 to high ankle sprains, and they should be out for at least a couple games. I am not expecting huge things out of Jones, but I still think he is worth an add just until we see what happens. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look in deeper leagues

Marcel Reece OAK | RB

Oakland doesn’t really use Reece in the running game, but with injuries to Goodson and McFadden he might get some looks. Even if he doesn’t get a ton of rushes, he still has value in the passing game. He already has 26 catches on the year, and they will continue to look his way with their top two running backs hurt. I don’t think he will have much value in standard leagues, but he is worth a look in PPR leagues. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look in all PPR leagues

Wide Recievers

Kenny Britt TEN | WR

I know Britt hasn’t been that great this year, but I was still surprised to see how many leagues he was available in. Britt is coming off of a major knee injury and I don’t think he has been even close to 100%. As the year goes on though I expect his knee to get stronger, and I like his chances for ending the year with solid numbers. Britt still offers top 15 fantasy wide receiver potential, and for that reason I think he should be owned in all leagues. (about 65% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Danny Amendola STL | WR

Amendola has been out since week 6, but he should be back for the Rams week 10. Before his injury he was a PPR stud, and he was putting together a great overall season. At this point it’s time to pick Amendola back up, and I expect him to pick up right where he left off. (about 65% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Brian Hartline MIA | WR

Hartline has been all over the place this year, but I really like him for the next couple of weeks. The Dolphins haven’t looked terrible on offense, and they play the Titans and then the Bills week 10 and 11. It should be easy pickings for the Fins the next two weeks, and if you at all need help at WR then you found your guy. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all PPR leagues

T.Y. Hilton IND | WR

The Colts young offense continues to impress, and Hilton has been one of their emerging stars. Luck has looked great this year and obvisouly his favorite target is Wayne, but Hilton is quickly becoming the #2 guy for the Colts passing game. He hasn’t been amazing this year, but he has consistently been a part of the offense, and I like his chances moving forward. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Davone Bess MIA | WR

I like Bess for a lot of the same reason I like Hartline. I love the schedule for the Dolphins over the next two weeks, and I like their chances for putting some points on the board. Bess is quietly having a great year, and I think he is a solid flex play in PPR leagues the next couple of weeks. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Pickup and play in PPR leagues

Tight Ends

Brandon Myers OAK | TE

I have talked about Myers a few times now, and he just keeps putting up solid numbers. His reception and yardage totals were solid heading into week 9, but the only thing missing were touchdowns. The lack of touchdowns is no longer an issue for Myers, he found the end zone twice against the Bucs. Myers is quietly having a great fantasy year, but I think he will finally start getting the attention that he deserves. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Quarterbacks

Carson Palmer OAK | QB

When you look at the QB stats from this year there are a lot of familiar faces in the top 10, but then there is Palmer. The amazing thing about it isn’t that Palmer is in the top 10, but rather that he is still available in about half of all fantasy leagues. With the injury to McFadden the Raiders are going to look at Palmer to continue to throw a ton, and the Raiders have a lot of weapons on offense. It’s time to start giving their offense and Palmer some credit. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Ryan Tannehill MIA | QB

Tannehill isn’t having even close to as good of a year as Luck or RGIII, but all things considered he is having a great rookie year. He is coming off of a decent game against the Colts, and I really like his chances the next two weeks. He plays the Titans week 10 and the Bills week 11, so he should be able to have a couple solid games in a row. If you need a bye week fill in for the next couple weeks, or if you are in a 2 QB league then you need to give Tannehill a look. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Pickup and play

Team Defenses

Pittsburgh PIT | DEF

The Chargers D went nuts against the Chiefs last week, and now it’s the Steelers turn. Pittsburgh’s D hasn’t really been themselves this year, but they looked good week 9 and they should have easy pickings week 10. I expect them to easily be a top 5 fantasy D this week, and if you are in a must win situation I don’t mind using a decent waiver number on them if they are available. (about 75% owned)
Recommendation: Must add pickup and play

Miami MIA | DEF

The Miami D has looked pretty good this year, and I like their chances against the Titans week 10. The Dolphins had a hard time stopping Luck week 9, but they should have a lot easier time at home against Matt Hasselbeck. I think the Titans will be able to put some points on the board, but look for the Fins to force some turnovers and maybe even score a defensive touchdown. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Pickup and play

Individual Defensive Players

Luke Kuechly CAR | LB

I was shocked to see how many leagues Kuechly was still available in. I know I have talked about him a lot in my waiver wire posts, but he needs to have more attention in the fantasy world. He is among the league leaders in tackles this year, and I think he will continue to impress moving forward. (about 35% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all IDP leagues
