During the NBA season FST brings you our Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Pickups, which breaks down players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. Let’s take a look at some players at each position that might be worthy of scooping off the waiver wire heading into Week 10 of the NBA season. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Basketball Forum.

Point Guards

Jamaal Tinsley UTA | PG

Jamaal Tinsley is currently filling in for the injured Mo Williams and has shown fantasy relevance in the past. He will produce a small amount of rebounds and a average amount of assists with around 11-15 points a night. Tinsley will not become a fantasy star but he will be a nice pick up while there are injuries to their backcourt. Tinsley will be a nice pickup while Mo Williams is out and his injury could keep him out for a month or possibly two. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Add in very deep leagues

Shooting Guards

Bradley Beal WAS | SG

Bradley Beal is returning off injury and has shown why he was so highly desired in leagues before the injury. Beal has shown the ability to produce a very good amount of rebounds and assists at the shooting guard position. He can score on a consistent basis, and he will be owned in one hundred percent of all leagues in only a couple more games if he produces more quality stats. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Alexey Shved MIN | PG/SG

Alexey Shved’s value is currently low but he has the potential to be a fantasy stud. He is getting consistent minutes and is going to be gaining new position eligibility which with increase his fantasy value. He has shown the ability to produce across the board at 3 rebounds a game along with 5 assists. If any more injuries occur to the Minnesota backcourt then Shved will be leaned on to get heavy minutes and his fantasy value. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all deep leagues and watch for standard

CJ Miles CLE | SG/SF

CJ Miles is taking the 6th man role for the Cleveland Cavaliers and is producing fantasy stats. His rebounding and assists are not on par with the position. He is only going to be a good asset for any deep league that is looking for upside. Anymore injuries that occur to the frontcourt will increase his fantasy relevance as it once was as Dion Waiters was out. Deep leagues should be adding him because of his current role and his high upside. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all deep leagues

Small Forwards

Kawhi Leonard SA | SG/SF

Kawhi Leonard returned from injury later than expected, but he is still putting up great fantasy stats as he was before he left. Leonard has the ability to produce all around numbers with a solid amount of steals. Leonard is still sitting at a high amount of upside being in his sophomore year and has been producing since his rookie season. After watching him for the past 2 years I have noticed that Greg Popovich thinks very highly of Leonard and gives him the opportunities to thrive. Leonard right now is still available in 25% percent of leagues and will be added in all leagues by the end of the week. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all deep leagues

Jared Dudley PHX | SG/SF

Jared Dudley is currently playing on an all-star caliber level in the month of December. He is a streaky player that you should ride when he is hot and drop him when he is cooled off. Dudley is pretty much the only fantasy star currently in the Phoenix Suns organization currently. He is going to be a good source of 3’s, rebounding, and scoring. He is a must add in all leagues while he is on this streak. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Amir Johnson TOR | PF/C

Amir Johnson is in a position to succeed in high amounts and become a fantasy relevant starter while Toronto is dealing with the injuries in their frontcourt. Amir is shown to be a good asset in rebounding, scoring, and blocks. He is only a fantasy relevant starter in the deepest leagues. He could show the potential to rise higher into shallow leagues if he shows that he is ready to step up his stats to the next level. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all deep leagues
