Forum Question: Which RB would you start in Week 16, Beanie Wells (@Cin) or LeGarrette Blount (@Car)? (view post by df2)

FST_Brent: Carolina is just terrible vs the run so I would say Blount has the higher upside but he also has the lower floor. Wells on the other hand has seemed to find the endzone one way or the other. Both are risky but I would go with Wells here.

FST_Dustin: At this point Blount is nothing more than a headache. If the Bucs can keep the game close and keep Blount in the game then I like Blount. The problem is, that is a big if. I think you have to go with Wells, because you know no matter what the score he is going to be the guy to get the touches. Blount is just too risky.

FST_Mike: The last time Blount played the Panthers he had just 19 yards on 11 carries. Now that was mainly because Josh Freeman was injured, but there is always that potential when going with Blount, especially if they are playing from behind since he is not really used in the passing game. Wells may have a tougher matchup against Cincinnati, but I still think he is the safer play this week.

FST_Mike: Both are nice starts this week, but I think you have to go with Eli. He torched the Cowboys last week and I expect a repeat this week against the Skins.

Forum Question: Which TE would you start in Week 16 Tony Gonzalez (@NO) or Aaron Hernandez (vs.Mia)? (view post by schambers0789)

FST_Brent: Gonzo has been so solid this year I dont think you can let one bad game scare you off. I expect ATL to have to score quite a bit to keep up with NO and Gonzo is a great red zone option for Matt Ryan.

FST_Dustin: This is a true coin flip at this point. TEs are really hard to predict, but with these two this is a good problem to have. I am going to say ride the hot hand and go with Hernandez. I think Gonzalez could have a solid week, but I think Hernandez has a slightly higher upside.

FST_Mike: Tough call here, but I think Gonzalez is the safer start and I expect a bounce back game after only one catch last week. Hernandez should have a decent game as well, but I usually play it safe in the fantasy playoffs.

Forum Question: Which WR would you start in Week 16, Jeremy Maclin (@Dal), Darrius Heyward-Bey (@KC), or Nate Burleson (vs.SD)? (view post by schambers0789)

FST_Brent: Vick looked as healthy as he has been in a while last week and Maclin is still his favorite target. I just think he is the safest play as he is the most talented wideout of your options and he has the same upside as either of the other two WR.

FST_Dustin: Before the Maclin injury he was off to a great start, and I think he has the potential to end the season strong. Heyward-Bey and Burleson are coming off solid games, but I think Maclin has the biggest upside. He has a decent matchup and I think the Eagles should be able to put up some points this week against the Cowgirls.

FST_Mike: Both Vick and Maclin appeared to be healthy during the Jets game last week and the Eagles have a nice matchup against the Cowboys that could turn into a shootout. Maclin’s last TD was in Week 8 against the Cowboys so hopefully history will repeat itself. I’d go Maclin.

Forum Question: Which QB would you start in Week 16, Tony Romo (vs.Phi) or Philip Rivers (@Det)? (view post by lookitsmrchris)

FST_Brent: This one is as close as it gets and I had both Rivers and Romo as a must start in my start/sit article this week. So as a tie breaker I will go with the guy that is playing at home. It is a huge game for the Lions so the fact Rivers is on the road might affect him. Not a huge reason but that breaks the tie for me – Romo is my play.

FST_Dustin: This one is extremely close, but I am going to give the slight edge to Romo as well. He has been more consistent this year when it comes to his TD totals, and I think he will be able to have a solid game against the Eagles.

FST_Mike: Very close call, but I would give the edge to Romo. Both QBs are playing well lately, but Romo has only had two games where he threw two or more interceptions, while Rivers has had seven. That being said, I think Romo is the safer play this week.
