Who’s in and who’s out for Week 2.

NAME TEAM INJURY STATUS RETURN
Matt Cassel KC Knee Questionable Status for Week 2 uncertain
Fantasy Impact: Cassel had limited practice this week and is questionable for Week 2 vs. Oakland. Backup QB Brodie Croyle would get the start if Cassel is inactive. Croyle is only worth a start in a deep 2-QB league.
Donovan McNabb PHI Rib Doubtful Unlikely to play in Week 2
Fantasy Impact: Although McNabb has not officially been ruled out for Sunday, it sounds like the Eagles are making plans to be without him for at least this week. Kevin Kolb would get the start against New Orleans if McNabb can’t play. Jeff Garcia was also added to the Eagles roster and he would step in if Kolb is ineffective.

NAME TEAM INJURY STATUS RETURN
Jamal Lewis CLE Neck Questionable Likely to play in Week 2
Fantasy Impact: Lewis should play this week, but the thing to keep an eye on is the timeshare between Lewis, Jerome Harrison, and James Davis. All three RBs might play this week and it will be interesting to see how they split the carries.
Pierre Thomas NO Knee Questionable Status for Week 2 uncertain
Fantasy Impact: Thomas participated in a full practice on Wednesday, but was was limited on Thursday. If Thomas does not play this week look for Mike Bell to again get a bulk of the carries and Reggie Bush to have his normal chance-of-pace role. This may be a game-time decision for Thomas so check back in before kickoff.
LaDainian Tomlinson SD Ankle Out Out for Week 2
Fantasy Impact: Tomlinson is not going to play in Week 2. Darren Sproles and Michael Bennett will split the carries and neither of them are good fantasy starts this week against the Ravens defense.
Wide Receivers
NAME TEAM INJURY STATUS RETURN
Anquan Boldin ARI Hamstring Questionable Status for Week 2 uncertain
Fantasy Impact: Boldin participated in limited practice this week. Jerheme Urban would see a few more looks if either Boldin or Steve Breaston are inactive. Boldin made a surprise appearance in Week 1 so we’d check in on his status before gametime.
Steve Breaston ARI Knee Questionable Status for Week 2 uncertain
Fantasy Impact: Breaston paticipated in limited practice this week. Jerheme Urban would fill in if Breaston can’t go. It sounds like another game-time decision so you may want to monitor this if you plan on starting any Cardinal WRs.
Greg Jennings GB Wrist Questionable Likely to play in Week 2
Fantasy Impact: Although he is currently lised as questionable, it appears that Jennings’ wrist injury is not a concern and he’ll be on the field this week against Cincinnati. Assuming he plays, he makes a nice start this week.
Anthony Gonzalez IND Knee Out Targeting a Week 7 return
Fantasy Impact: Losing Gonzalez for a month is a big blow a lot of fantasy teams. Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie will fill in while Gonzalez is out and Dallas Clark will see a few more looks. The Colts are also expected to sign Hank Baskett, but he’s not worth picking up. If you own Gonzalez, stash him on your bench and ride this one out.
Antonio Bryant TB Knee Doubtful Unlikely to play in Week 2
Fantasy Impact: Bryant will likely be inactive Week 2. The Bucs will use a rotation of Maurice Stovall, Sammie Stroughter, and Brian Clark to fill in for Bryant. You should not be starting any of these three players, however Kellen Winslow should be a nice play against a Bills defense that gave up two TDs to Patriots TE Ben Watson last week.
Wes Welker NE Knee Questionable Likely to play in Week 2
Fantasy Impact: It sounds like Welker will play this week, but you may want to check in just before gametime to be sure. Joey Galloway and Sam Aiken would see some looks if Welker is inactive.
