Despite a roller coaster season, Austin Jackson is hitting .305 on the year. He’s also a decent source of runs and stolen bases and he should be owned and active in deeper mixed leagues.
Manny Ramirez has only played in 66 games with the Dodgers this season, but a move to the AL and the hitter’s park in Chicago could make him a nice add for the remainder of the season.
It appears that the White Sox are the favorites to win the waiver claim on Manny Ramirez. If he is traded to Chicago, Ramirez would see a nice boost in fantasy value at U.S. Cellular Field.
Miguel Montero was one of our favorite catchers to start the year, but he missed two months due to injury. His recent resurgence has put him back on the fantasy radar he should be starting in all leagues.

Miguel Montero should be fully recovered from his knee injury, and he is starting to find his grove at the plate. He has raised his season average above .300 and he should be owned in almost all leagues.
Luke Scott has been on fire batting .385 with four home runs and ten RBIs in August. He’s raised his season average to .293 and is worth an add in most mixed fantasy leagues while he stays hot.
Rajai Davis hit .328 in July and has stayed hot in the beginning of August. Davis can be streaky at times, but if he continues swing a hot bat, he’ll also help teams in need of stolen bases.
Alexei Ramirez batted .362 in July and was 18 for 36 with two homers, eight RBIs and 10 runs during a recent nine-game hit streak. Although his hit streak ended on Wednesday, he could be in for a huge August.
