General discussion about Fantasy Baseball

This is from my other post. I'm not sure how it works, but it says two replies already, therefore nobody has commented on it. The two replies were just me updating the status of the trades. When it's all said and done, there's two trades that combine to look like this:
I give Lance Lynn, Derek Jeter, Giancarlo Stanton.
I receive Jacoby Ellsbury, Starlin Castro, and Curtis Granderson.
Do I win this trade?
C Buster Posey
1B Adrian Gonzalez
2B Dustin Pedroia
3B Jose Bautista
SS Derek Jeter
OF Gincarlo Stanton
OF Shane Victorino
OF Adam Jones
U Mike Aviles
Reserve 3B Pablo Sandoval
Reserve C Carlos Ruiz
SP Carlos Zambrano
SP James Shields
SP Josh Beckett
SP Yu Darvish
SP Tommy Hanson
RP Jim Johnson
RP Kenley Jansen
Reserve SP Josh Johnson
Reserve SP Lance Lynn
Reserve SP Ricky Romero

Man, that is REALLY REALLY close. To me it depends on how your doing in your league.
Granderson vs stanton- Slight edge towards Stanton, not by much. Grander son looks legit, Stanton just looks a bit more
Castro vs jeter- edge castro, but again pretty close
Lynn vs ellsbury- I expect them both to regress, but when both healthy I'd still easily take ellsbury over Lynn.
It all depends on these things:
If the season ended now, wouldbyou make the playoffs?
Do you need speed or power?
How are you doing in pitching?
If the answer to that is:
Yes
Speed
No
Then I say you make this trade

I'm 6-1 in my league. Its a 10 team H2H league and I usually don't prefer speed or power, just whoever scores the most FPTS. My pitching is alright as it is, could be better but it could also be ALOT worse.

Oh my bad I assumed it was a category league. I say you make the trade, you are really selling high on jeter and Lynn.

Let's break this one down.
Castro for Jeter - Even thought Jeter is playing nuts, I would rather have Castro moving forward.
Granderson for Stanton - this is as close as it gets, personally I would rather have Stanton though.
Ellsbury for Lynn - Lynn is pitching well, but I don't think he is irreplaceable. I looks like Ellsbury will be back in 5-6 weeks so you still have a ways to go, but obvisouly once he comes back I think you win this part.
If you can afford to give up the SP then I think you win this one.
