I got offered Ryan Braun and papelbon for josh Hamilton and aroldis chapman. Should I accept this trade or ask for more. The only thing that worries me is the fact that Braun was basically on foods last season so I'm worried he won't pull numbers anywhere near the stats he had last seasons (and so far he hasn't at all).

Im no expert, but I think you have to accept. I think Braun will have better numbers than Hamilton and Papelbon is a no brainer over Chapman. If it were me, I'd pull the trigger.

I would rather be on the Braun/Papelbon side of this trade, but this one truly is a coin flip. I have never been a Hamilton fan because of his injuries, and I agree Braun is a question mark this year. So I have them as pretty even right now. As of now I have Papelbon a good bit over Chapman, but if Marshall slips up then Chapman could swoop in and take over the closer role. Like I said I would rather take the safer bet at closer with Papelbon and gamble on Braun putting up big numbers again rather then hoping Hamilton can stay healthy.

You gotta do it. Hamilton is not as good as Braun and is an injury waiting to happen... plus the ceiling for Chapman is what you should expect from Papelbon. Big win for you.

Thanks for te input guys. I'm kind of reluctant on doing the trade as I'm scared of brauns upcoming season. However I might just do chapman for papelbon straight up
