Warsaw, Poland, March 15, 2012 – Euro 2012 The first game of the series of tournaments will begin with Poland against Greece on Friday, June 8 at 1800CET signalling the launch towards Euro 2012 Other Group A openers include Russia versus the Czech Republic at 2045CET. The following day, Group B will open with a match between the Netherlands and Denmark in Kharkiv while Germany will take on Portugal in Lviv.

Can the Greece beat Poland in the first match up of Euro 2012 ? Any predictions guys or even bets??

The European Championships haven’t exactly been a happy stomping ground for Poland! They’ve only every qualified for the tournament on one occasion which was back in 2008, when the managed to collect just one point after an impressive 1-1 draw with minnows Austria..

I believe that this is going to be a very close game. Poland has a home advantage but Greece has also a strong side as they have shown a decent recent form to win their qualifying group.
