Each week our Fantasy Basketball experts will give fantasy owners their top choices for players to pick up for all leagues, as well as some players to consider in deeper leagues. If you have any Fantasy Basketball questions for our experts feel free to post them in post them in our Fantasy Sports Forum.
With Iverson officially out of the picture, Williams is in great shape to finish the season with strong numbers. He should be picked up in all leagues at this point. (about 60% owned)
It looks like Holiday is going to be starting and playing solid minutes for the rest of the season. He has had some really good games, and he has proven he can truly fill up the stat sheet. (about 25% owned)
Butler has had a nice stretch over the last 2 months, and he has been a great source of 3’s. If you are looking for a boost in 3’s then look no further then Butler, he should put up solid numbers for the rest of the season. (about 50% owned)
Thornton just keeps putting up numbers, but he is still available in 40% of leagues. It does look like Paul is going to come back this year, but we think that hurts Collison more then Thornton. If he is still available in your league we say go ahead and pick him up. (about 60% owned)
It looks like Douglas is going to be a starter for the Knicks for the rest of the season. The Knicks have nothing to play for, so they might as well start to develop some of their young players. Douglas should be a good source of 3’s and assists. (about 5% owned)
The Nets have nothing to play for, so they might as well let some of their young guys get some playing time. Williams will be inconsistent but he should have some good games down the stretch. (about 20% owned)
Ben Wallace has been out for a while now, and Maxiell has been filling in quit nicely. He has been a double-double machine, and he should continue to have good value as long as Wallace is out. (about 20% owned)
The Knicks have been giving their young players more playing time, and for good reason. The Knicks have nothing to play for and Walker should see decent minutes from here on out. Don’t expect consistent numbers, but he should have decent overall averages. (about 5% owned)
Matthews has been starting for a while, but until recently his numbers haven’t been that impressive. Utah has been really banged up lately, and Matthews role has increased on the offensive end. (about 5% owned)
Matthews isn’t the only one benefiting from the Utah injuries. Miles has had some good games as of late, and he should continue to see good minutes as long as Kirilenko and Price are out. (about 5% owned)
