Julio Borbon got off to a slow start, but he's been hot lately and is batting over .400 in June.
Each week our Fantasy Baseball experts will give fantasy owners their top choices for players to pick up for all leagues, as well as some players to consider in deeper leagues. If you have any Fantasy Baseball questions for our experts feel free to post them in post them in our Fantasy Sports Forum.
Jackson had a decent year last season but this year he has had some struggles. Lately he has pitching better and he has lowered his ERA about 3 points in the last 6 weeks, and his K counts have been impressive. He is far from a must add but you should at least keep an eye on him. (about 60% owned)
Motte has been pitching lights out lately. He has only given up 1 earned run in the last month, and he has had great K counts during that time. If setup men have any value in your league you might want to pick him up, he should give you a good ERA while mixing in some wins and strikeouts. (about 5% owned)
We were surprised to see that Bruce was still available in about 30% of leagues. His numbers so far this year aren’t going to blow you away, but they are decent and his upside is as big as they come. (about 70% owned)
Everyone remembers how hot Jones started out last year, but he hasn’t been that impressive since then and he has been dropped in a lot of leagues. He is starting to show some signs of life and it might be time to pick him back up if he was dropped in your league. (about 70% owned)
We were really high on Borbon as a sleeper outfielder, but after a terrible start he was dropped in a ton of leagues. We weren’t sure if he would be able to break out of his slump, but he has in a big way. He has raised his average almost 70 points in the last month and we think he is a must add at this point. (about 30% owned)
It seems like Young has been around forever, but he is still only 25 and he is on pace for career numbers. We know Young has a big upside but he has never been able to put it all together, this could be the year he finally breaks out. (about 20% owned)
Rodriguez has been a nice surprise for the Rays this year. He recently had a 14 game hit streak in which he raised his average 80 points. If you are at all looking for a second basemen you might want to look at Rodriguez. We doubt he will bat for much power, but it looks like he does have the potential to bat for average. (about 10% owned)
Kendrick was our favorite sleeper second basemen coming into the season and we were shocked to see he is only owned in 70% of leagues. He has started to find his stroke during the last month and we think he is a must add. He should have value for the rest of the season and he should be universally owned at this point. (about 70% owned)
