After a frustrating start to the season, Adam Jones has raised his average nearly 20 points in June and is showing shades of his breakout 2009 season.
Delmon Young continues to swing a hot bat in June and is batting over .300 for the season. Although he is often criticized for his poor plate discipline, he’s a viable Fantasy option in most leagues.
Julio Borbon got off to a slow start, but he’s been hot lately and is batting over .400 in June. He also has eight stolen bases on the year and worth an add in deeper mixed leagues.
Buster Posey has been very impressive since he was called up from the minors and his eligibility at first base and catcher adds to his Fantasy appeal.
Chipper Jones was on a nice run before a finger injury. He has a history of nagging injuries, but he is still a low-end Fantasy starter and worth owning in most deeper mixed leagues.
Although he had some early season struggles, David Ortiz’s recent resurgence gives him renewed Fantasy appeal and he is worth an add if you are looking for some power.
After being selected No. 1 overall, Sam Bradford will contend for Rams’ starting QB job, but with a weak receiving corps he is nothing more than a late-round pick in deeper seasonal drafts.
While Dez Bryant may be the most talented WR in his draft class with a chance to someday develop into an elite wideout, he’ll only have minimal Fantasy value in 2010.
Ryan Mathews will fill the void in the Chargers backfield and is the clear cut top fantasy rookie RB. Early mock drafts have him going as early as the 3rd or 4th round.
