Our weekly fantasy football waiver wire takes a look at the top pickups for Week 14 of the NFL season. Many of these players are still available in a majority of leagues and could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster. Others might be worth stashing on your bench, or are simply just players to add to your watch list. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

Mike Gillislee BUF | RB

It’s possible that it was just game flow, but it looks like Gillislee might be the new favorite for goal line work for the Bills. LeSean McCoy did most of the heavy lifting Week 13 and Gillislee came in and vultured two goal line touchdowns. Even though I don’t think McCoy owners have much to worry about, it’s looking like Gillislee could have value in touchdown heavy leagues down the stretch. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Ty Montgomery GB | RB

Maybe the Packers are worried about Montgomery’s durability and that’s why his carries have been so limited, but I don’t understand why he isn’t their starting running back. So far with his 35 carries he is averaging over five yards per carry and he seems to be the Packers best option at that position. It looks like James Starks is now third on the depth chart after Montgomery and Christine Michael and it will be interesting to see how the carries get distributed going forward. Overall though I think Montgomery has the biggest upside out of the three. (about 35% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Rex Burkhead CIN | RB

At this point it looks like Burkhead is taking over close to the role that was filled by Giovani Bernard. Burkhead had 12 touches Week 13 with four of those being receptions. I expect him to continue to get ten plus touches a week and he could be a flex option in deeper leagues down the stretch. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Wide Receivers

Taylor Gabriel ATL | WR

Gabriel almost scored another touchdown Week 13 and he could have easily had a much bigger game. He has had at least five targets in each of his last four games and he has become a consistent part of the Falcons offense. My only worry about Gabriel is that I felt he had a low week to week floor, but at this point he seems to be a fairly safe WR3 with upside. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Ted Ginn Jr. CAR | WR

Ginn is having an amazing second half of the season and it’s surprising that the fantasy world isn’t taking notice. The Panthers are targeting him early and often each week and at this point I think Ginn is a borderline WR1. I know he has been around for awhile and he hasn’t been all that consistent, but it’s time that we start believing what he is doing. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Malcolm Mitchell NE | WR

You never really know how much you can trust a Patriots receiver, but at this point it looks like Mitchell should be starting for your fantasy squad. With Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola out for the rest of the regular season this is going to force the Patriots to look elsewhere and it seems like Mitchell is going to be the biggest beneficiary. He has had 19 targets over the last three games and I expect that trend to continue moving forward. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Tyler Lockett SEA | WR

Lockett appears to be 100% healthy and it’s possible he finishes the season much like he did in 2015. The Seahawks are a second half team when you look back at the last few seasons and I expect them to finish strong. Lockett still has a fairly low floor from week to week, but he should be a high upside WR4 for the rest of the way. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Quarterbacks

Robert Griffin III CLE | QB

The Browns have nothing to lose at this point and with RGIII healthy they might as well start him and see how he does. He is the furthest thing from a must add in fantasy, but in deeper leagues and two quarterback leagues he needs to be considered. He can easily add 40-80 rushing yards per game and because of that alone he needs to be on the QB2 radar. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Tight End

Ladarius Green PIT | TE

There’s the game we have been waiting for from Green. He broke out with six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown Week 13 and he is in a great position to contribute down the stretch. Green will be in the TE1 discussion for the rest of the way and he is certainly worth a look if you are looking to make a change at this position. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Defenses

Cincinnati CIN | DEF

The Bengals are on the road against their in state rivals the Browns Week 14 and they should have a solid fantasy week on the defensive side of the ball. The Browns are giving up the second most points to opposing defenses and the Bengals D has been solid as of late. They Bengals haven’t given up more than 21 points in a game since Week 8 and I expect that trend to continue against the Browns. (about 35% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play
