Our weekly fantasy football waiver wire takes a look at the top pickups for Week 15 of the NFL season. Many of these players are still available in a majority of leagues and could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster. Others might be worth stashing on your bench, or are simply just players to add to your watch list. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

Jonathan Stewart CAR | RB

I can’t remember the last time Stewart looked that good out on the football field. It’s clear that the veteran is as healthy as he has been in awhile and he should be considered as an add in all leagues. The Panthers in general have looked better lately and it’s possible that they may have figured some things out. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Kerwynn Williams ARI | RB

It looked like Stepfan Taylor was going to get the bulk of the carries Week 14, but that wasn’t even close to the case. Williams had 19 touches compared to 12 for the rest of the team. At this point if you were going to take a gamble on any Cardinals running back then I would go with Williams. He looked fairly decent Week 14 and he does have an upside. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Marcel Reece OAK | RB

One of the big reasons that the Raiders offense has come alive is Marcel Reece. They have used him as a pass catcher out of the backfield and the big running back has had a huge impact. Reece is only worth a look in deeper PPR leagues, but at this point he is an interesting deep league play. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Chris Johnson NYJ | RB

Johnson has had a terrible season, but he has started to get things going a bit the last couple of weeks. The Jets have been giving him more carries as of late and he could be a decent plug and play against the Titans Week 15. Even though he hasn’t had many highlights this season you have to think there is still the chance of him breaking a big one. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Wide Receivers

Charles Johnson MIN | WR

Johnson is better than the fantasy world is giving him credit for and it’s time for this youngster to start getting picked up. He didn’t get much hype coming out of Grand Valley State, but he certainly has talent. He and Teddy Bridgewater appear to be on the same page and I am a fan of Johnson down the stretch. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Marquess Wilson CHI | WR

The Brandon Marshall injury is going to open the door for other Chicago receivers to get some targets and it looks like Wilson is next in line. The 2nd year player hasn’t done much in the NFL yet, but he has a great opportunity here to show us what he can do. He is worth a look in deeper leagues if you are looking for a guy to take a gamble on with a decent upside. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Marqise Lee JAX | WR

Lee has 11 catches over the last two weeks and the rookie receiver is gaining some momentum. It takes a while for a young team to get on the same page and the Jags offense has looked better as of late. Their offense is still terrible, but Lee is starting to show some promise. If you are desperate for a receiver in a deeper league then I don’t mind taking a gamble on the rookie. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Quarterbacks

Johnny Manziel CLE | QB

At some point the Browns coaching staff has to give in and give Manziel a chance. It’s obvious that they don’t really like Manziel, but he gives them the best chance to win on the field. Once the rookie finally takes over as the starting quarterback he will instantly have top 10 fantasy quarterback potential from week to week. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

Jake Locker TEN | QB

With Zach Mettenberger headed to IR the Titans are going to go back to Jake Locker as their starting QB. While Locker hasn’t been great he does have more fantasy potential than Mettenberger. Locker has the ability to add some points with his legs and he has decent match ups over the last couple of weeks if you are desperate. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

Eli Manning NYG | QB

Eli went nuts against the Skins earlier in the year and he has another matchup with them at home Week 15. The Redskins are just plan terrible and you have to think that Eli will have another solid game. He and Beckham Jr. are clearly on the same page and the Skins D will have their hands full trying to stop that duo. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

Defenses

Baltimore BAL | DEF

If you look at the matchup on paper Week 15 against the Jags, you can’t help but get excited. The Jags offense has looked better as of late, but they are still making mistakes. The Ravens are a huge pickup this week and I would even use the #1 waiver on them if they are going to find your starting lineup. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

New York Giants NYG | DEF

The Giants D had a monster game Week 14 and they have the Redskins this week. It doesn’t matter who the Skins have a quarterback it’s almost a given that they will make some mistakes. The Giants are a great pickup and play defense if you are streaming Ds. (about 35% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play
