Our weekly fantasy football waiver wire takes a look at the top pickups for Week 14 of the NFL season. Many of these players are still available in a majority of leagues and could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster. Others might be worth stashing on your bench, or are simply just players to add to your watch list. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

Daniel Herron IND | RB

Herron once again proves to be the Colts best option at running back. He is basically in a 50/50 split with Trent Richardson for the carries, but the Colts seem to prefer Herron in the passing game. These means that Herron has the most overall fantasy value out of the Colts running backs and I think that makes him a must add. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Doug Martin TB | RB

All you need to know here is that Doug Martin is a starting running back. We know he isn’t the same runner that he was his rookie year, but he should still see enough touches to be relevant for the rest of the season. If you are desperate for running back depth then go ahead and grab Martin. (about 45% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

LeGarrette Blount NE | RB

Even thought Blount is going to be hard to trust from week to week, he is still better than most options you might find on the wire. The Patriots love how this guy runs and at the very least you know he will get the goal lines. Blount will have some flex spot potential for the stretch run. (about 35% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Andre Williams NYG | RB

Rashad Jennings hurt his ankle Week 13 and even though he is optimistic about his injury I am not so sure. Players are historically wrong about their own injuries and I think there is a good chance that Jennings doesn’t play Week 14 against the Jags. I think Williams is a must own if you are counting on Jennings for Week 14. (about 45% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Marion Grice ARI | RB

It looks like Andre Ellington is going to miss the Cardinals Week 14 game and this would mean that Grice would handle most of the running back duties. The upside isn’t huge here, but someone is going to have to carry the ball. If you are in a pinch then you might want to give Grice a look. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Wide Receivers

Kenny Stills NO | WR

With Brandin Cooks out of the way this left the door open for Stills to get more looks and he took full advantage Week 13. His production will have it’s ups and downs, but his week to week upside will always be huge. I think Stills is well worth an add if you need any receiver help. (about 45% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Donte Moncrief IND | WR

Moncrief’s value is certainly trending up and I think he could be the #2 fantasy receiver for the Colts from here on out. The aging Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks are still in his way, but it’s obvious that this rookie receiver is talented and needs more targets. I expect Moncrief to spend more and more time out on the field and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets just as many targets as Reggie Wayne from here on out. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Stedman Bailey STL | WR

Bailey had his second big game in a row and it’s time for the fantasy world to start paying attention to this young receiver. He is clearly the best fantasy receiver on the Rams and he and Shaun Hill seem to have nice chemistry. Bailey is taking full advantage of his starting job and I expect more big things from this 2nd year receiver. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Marqise Lee JAC | WR

With all of the rookie receivers having great seasons, why not add one more. Lee has been fairly quiet this year, but it’s very possible that he ends the year on a high note. Lee is a talented player and the only thing holding back this young receiver is the Jags terrible offense. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Tight End

Jordan Reed WAS | TE

Reed was able to stay healthy the entire game Week 13 and he ended up with a solid week. We know that he is a talented player, but injuries have been his only issue. He will remain a high risk/high reward tight end for the rest of the way. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Quarterbacks

Johnny Manziel CLE | QB

It took longer than expected, but it looks like Johnny Football is about to be the starting quarterback for the Browns. From a fantasy standpoint you have to be excited about his potential because of what he can do with his legs. If you are looking for a high upside quarterback that could potentially find your starting lineup during the playoffs, then look no further. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Ryan Fitzpatrick HOU | QB

What a game Fitzpatrick had Week 13, easily the best game of his career. He got off to a quick start and he played great the entire game. I am thinking he will come back down to earth Week 14, but with matchups against the Jags and then the Colts he could be in line for a couple more big games. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

Defenses

Minnesota MIN | DEF

Thanks to a couple punts blocked for touchdowns, the Vikings defense had a huge fantasy day Week 13. They had a nice matchup against the Panthers and they follow that up with a matchup against the woeful Jets offense. The Vikings will be playing at home Week 14 and they could certainly help your fantasy team make it to the second round of the playoffs. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

St. Louis STL | DEF

The Rams D had a monster game Week 13 and with a matchup against the Redskins Week 14 you have to think that they will have another big game. The Rams D has been solid for most of the year and they should be on the top of your list when it comes to potential pickup and play defenses. (about 70% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

Baltimore BAL | DEF

You need to start thinking a couple week ahead with your defenses and that’s why I like the Ravens as a pickup. They play the Jags at home Week 15 and I think they are certainly a defense that could help your squad make it to the finals. The Ravens are especially a defense to target if you have a first round bye in the fantasy playoffs. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play
