Yadier Molina STL | C

Molina was a top fantasy catcher heading into the season, but he was dropped in many leagues after thumb surgery. He was having a solid year before getting hurt and I am assuming he will pickup right where he left off. You need to snag him now if he is available in your league. (about 70% owned)

Jeremy Hellickson TB | SP

Hellickson was suppose to be the next big thing in terms of starting pitching, but after some injuries and a sub par 2013 that hasn’t been the case. He appears to be healthy now though and he has been pitching great. I like his chances of finishing the year strong and I think he needs to be picked up in all leagues at this point. Add in deeper leagues

Jorge Soler CHC | OF

Soler is one of the biggest outfield prospects in all of baseball and he came up to the bigs in style, hitting a home run with his first major league at bat. He has been up and down a bit in the minors, but he has proven that he can be a dynamic player. If you are looking to take a gamble on a young outfielder then he is your man. (about 40% owned)

Carlos Carrasco CLE | SP

The Indians have moved Carrasco from the bullpen to the rotation and if he keeps pitching like this then his rotation spot should be safe. So far this year he is right at a K per inning and is sporting an ERA of just over 3. Carrasco is certainly an interesting young pitcher and now that he is a starter he should have the fantasy world’s attention. (about 30% owned)

Adeiny Hechavarria MIA | SS

Hechavarria is a talented young shortstop and in my opinion one of the more interesting young fantasy players in the league. He isn’t going to give you much power, but he has solid speed numbers and he has a solid amount of extra base hits. As he develops I could see him eventually being a top 10 fantasy shortstop and he is a guy that’s worth a gamble in some leagues. (about 10% owned)

Drew Stubbs COL | SP

Looks like we have a Drew Stubbs sighting. Stubbs has been playing great this year, but his at bats have been limited since he was stuck behind Gonzalez and Cuddyer. With those two guys injured, this should mean consistent at bats for Stubbs and this makes him a solid option for the stretch run. (about 30% owned)

Kennys Vargas MIN | 1B

In the minors Vargas was a bit inconsistent, but since getting called up he has been on fire. In just over 100 major league at bats, he has over 20 RBIs and 11 extra base hits. I expect his numbers to come back down to earth, but he is certainly a guy that should have your attention. (about 40% owned)

Héctor Santiago LAA | SP

Santiago has shown flashes of greatness in the past when he was with the White Soxs and lately he has been pitching great for the Angels. He has solid K potential and if he can find a way to limit the walks then I think he could be a great fantasy pitcher. He is only 26 years old and I think his best years are yet to come. Keep an eye on

Ender Inciarte ARI | OF

I am a fan of the young Arizona outfielder and I think he could have a bright future. He has mixed in solid speed and some power so far this year and I think he could eventually be a 20/20 guy. He is currently available in almost all leagues, so if you are in any type of keeper league then I think he is a guy that you should consider grabbing. (about 5% owned)
