Each week during the NFL season FST brings you our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, which breaks down players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. Let’s take a look at some of the hottest pickups at each position heading into Week 12 of the NFL season. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Quarterbacks

Matt McGloin OAK | QB

In deeper leagues you might want to keep an eye on the Oakland quarterback situation. The Raiders play from behind a lot and this makes their quarterback someone that could have fantasy value from week to week. Obvisouly the overall upside is limited due to the low talent level on that offense, but each week it’s possible that the quantity of passes will lead to a decent week. Right now it looks like McGloin is very much in the mix for the starting quarterback duties, so monitor the situation as the week goes on. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Keep an eye on

Running Backs

Bobby Rainey TB | RB

It’s unbelievable to me that Doug Martin struggled so much at the beginning of the year and every Bucs running back since his injury has played great. Rainey looks to be the guy to own now for Tampa Bay and he looked great week 11. He should be added in all leagues and with decent playoff match-ups he has solid value down the stretch. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Shane Vereen NE | RB

After an awesome week 1 Vereen is finally back for the Pats and he looked good week 11. He is a guy that can both run and catch the ball out of the backfield and I expect the Patriots to find a lot of different ways to get the ball in his hands. He might be a bit streaky from week to week, but his upside is way too high to leave on any waiver wires. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Donald Brown IND | RB

Even though the Colts will not come out and say it, I think Brown could continue to get more touches than Richardson moving forward. Brown has looked much better than Richardson and that’s why he got more carries week 11. I think it will be somewhat of a nasty timeshare as long as they are both healthy, but at this point I think I would say that Brown has the bigger upside. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Rashad Jennings OAK | RB

I talked in my waiver wire article last week how it’s possible that McFadden might come back and not have a staring job anymore. With the way that Jennings has been playing it’s going to be hard for the Raiders to instantly plug McFadden back in there. Jennings has looked great and if you haven’t seen his 80 yard touchdown run from week 11, then you need to check it out. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Chris Ivory NYJ | RB

I was surprised that Ivory wasn’t picked up in more leagues heading into week 11. He had a solid matchup against the Bills and he has been playing great as of late. After a slow start to the season Ivory has really come on and I like his upside for the rest of the way. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Montee Ball DEN | RB

It might be a bit of a stretch to call him a must add in all leagues, but I think his upside justifies it. He should have decent value down the stretch and if Moreno were to get hurt then I think he could be a top 15 running back. Even if Moreno stays healthy the Broncos are going to be looking for ways to not overwork their starters as they get ready for the playoffs. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Chris Ogbonnaya CLE | RB

There hasn’t been much to get excited about when it comes to the Browns running game, but it looks like Ogbonnaya has some potential. I especially like him in PPR leagues since he has 34 catches already this year. His touches have been inconsistent this year which makes him far from a guarantee, although I think he is still an interesting add at this point. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Wide Receivers

Jarrett Boykin GB | WR

Boykin was dropped in a lot of leagues after the Rodgers injury, but I think it was a little premature. He is a good receiver and even with Rodgers out he has been a big part of the Packers offense. Rodgers should be back before the fantasy playoffs and this makes Boykin a great stash for when it counts the most. He needs to be owned in way more leagues at this point. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Michael Crabtree SF | WR

Crabtree has been out all year, but it looks like a return is in the near future. The 49ers desperately need help at the wide receiver position and Crabtree will be welcomed with opened arms. There is a good chance that he could be a top 30 receiver down the stretch, so at this point he needs to be stashed in all leagues to see if he is able to make a successful comeback. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Rod Streater OAK | WR

Streater is quickly having a solid season and even though he has thrown in a couple bad games, he has been solid most of the year. The has had at least 3 catches in all but 2 games this year and the Raiders consistently get him involved in the offense. I don’t think he has a huge upside, but he is shaping up to be a decent option each week. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Marquise Goodwin BUF | WR

Goodwin had a solid game with Stevie Johnson being out and I like the look of this young receiver. The Bills passing game isn’t that great, but Goodwin is a guy to consider picking up in deeper leagues. Even once Johnson comes back I think Goodwin will be a part of that offense. He also handles some of their kick return duties, so if your league counts return yards you might want to give him a look. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Tight Ends

Delanie Walker TEN | TE

Walker has been a beast lately and at this point he is certainly worth a look in all leagues and should be added in deeper. He has a touchdown in 3 of his last 4 games and he is averaging over 50 yards per game during that stretch. The Titans quarterback situation continues to be a concern, but Fitzpatrick seems to trust Walker and he throws to him early and often. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Defense/Special Teams

Dallas CowboysDAL | DEF

The Cowboys are coming off of a bye heading into week 12 and they have a decent matchup against the Giants. The Giants offense has looked better as of late, but you can almost count on at least 1 INT a game from Eli at this point. Even though the Cowboys are on the road I still like their chances for a decent week on the defensive side of the ball. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play

Baltimore RavensBAL | DEF

The Ravens D has a juicy matchup week 12 at home against the Jets. The Ravens D has been decent lately and you would like to think it will be easy pickings against the questionable Jets passing game. They should be pretty much a lock for 6-10 points and you have to love the potential for a touchdown. (about 65% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play
