Each week during the NFL season FST brings you our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, which breaks down players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. Let’s take a look at some of the hottest pickups at each position heading into Week 11 of the NFL season. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Quarterbacks

Scott Tolzien GB | QB

The undrafted rookie out of Wisconsin has a huge opportunity to show us what he can do week 11. He is going to get a chance to start against the Giants and he could have a decent amount of fantasy points. I am sure he will make some mistakes, but the Packers still have a lot of weapons on that offense. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Keep an eye on

Running Backs

Ben Tate HOU | RB

With the latest news about Foster being out for the rest of the year, this means that Tate should have huge value from here on out. He hasn’t been amazing this year, but he should get all of the touches that he can handle moving forward. The Texans offense should continue to put points on the board, so look for Tate to get a decent amount of goal line touches. (about 70% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Andre Brown NYG | RB

After a long wait Brown finally rewarded his owners with a solid week 10 performance. It looks like moving forward he is the guy to own for the Giants and I like his potential down the stretch. Even if Jacobs is able to come back this year, I still don’t think it will hurt Brown’s value that much. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Chris Ivory NYJ | RB

After a terrible start to the season, Ivory has really started to get things going. He has had great games in 2 of his last 3, and he appears to be the Jets running back to own moving forward. Ivory is still going to be splitting carries to some degree with Powell, but at this point I think it’s clear that he is the superior runner. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Jonathan Stewart CAR | RB

Stewart lead the Panthers rushing attack week 10, carrying the ball 13 times. He is going to be in a nasty timeshare, but at this point I think I would rather own Stewart than Williams. The Panthers also seem to prefer Stewart in the passing game more as well. The stock for Stewart is going up and he is worth a bench spot in most leagues. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Rashad Jennings OAK | RB

McFadden is a bum. He can’t stay healthy and even when he is healthy enough to play, he hasn’t been great. There is a chance that even once McFadden comes back that Jennings could have a decent role on the Raiders offense. He has looked pretty good over the last two weeks and you can certainly make the argument that he has looked better than McFadden this year. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Mark Ingram NO | RB

Ingram was a man on a mission Sunday night and I am sure the fantasy world took notice. While I do think he is worth an add in a lot of leagues, let’s not get too excited about him. The Saints running game is and always will be a mess. While he might have some more good games this year, he is just a hard guy to count on each week. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Brian Leonard TB | RB

Mike James was hurt during the first quarter of Monday night football and the injury didn’t look good. At this point it looks like he will be out for many weeks, and this opens the door for Leonard to start for the Bucs. The veteran lacks a huge upside, but just because of how many touches he would get it makes him a guy that you need to consider picking up. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Wide Receivers

Aaron Dobson NE | WR

Dobson has clearly emerged as a player to pay attention to for the Pats offense. He has made some big plays in the last few weeks and it looks like he and Brady are on the same page. I expect him to have some big games the second half of the season and I think he is a must add in all leagues. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Jarrett Boykin GB | WR

Boykin was dropped by a lot of owners after the Rodgers injury, but it looks like it may have been premature. Also, all signs are pointing to Rodgers coming back before the fantasy playoffs, so when it counts the most Boykin should have more value. Boykin is a great guy to add for wide receiver depth and even if he doesn’t find your starting lineup right now, he should offer solid value later in the year. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Tavon Austin STL | WR

The performance for Austin week 10 was a little fluky, but there is a chance the Rams are just figuring out how they want to use their rookie wide receiver. At this point I think he is a must add in all leagues just in case he in on the verge of breaking out. We all know this kid is talented and the Rams need to find as many creative ways as possible to get the ball in his hands. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Riley Cooper PHI | WR

There was some question if the performance from Cooper week 9 was a fluke, but after another huge game you have to think this could be the real deal. Foles had instant chemistry with Cooper and it looks like they could both have solid value down the stretch. Cooper is going to have his ups and downs though, so keep that in mind when you think about starting him from week to week. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Rishard Matthews MIA | WR

Matthews took full advantage of his extra time out on the field week 10 and he is now on the fantasy radar. The injury to Gibson has opened the door for Matthews and he quickly became Tannehill’s favorite target Monday night against the Bucs. He is a guy that is certainly worth a look in deeper leagues and I even think he is worth considering in all PPR leagues as well. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Should be added in deeper leagues

Defense/Special Teams

New York Giants NYG | DEF

The Giants defense looked pretty good coming off of their bye week 10 and I like their chances week 11. A couple of weeks ago a matchup against the Packers would be one to stay as far away from as possible, but with Rodgers out it’s not a terrible matchup. The Packers are going to have a hard time putting points on the board and I like their chances to force a few turnovers against an inexperienced quarterback. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a pickup and play
