Each week during the NFL season FST brings you our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, which breaks down players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. Let’s take a look at some players at each position that might be worthy of scooping off the waiver wire heading into Week 15 of the NFL season. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

Montell Owens JAC | RB

Owens had a productive game in his first start at running back for the Jags. He proved he can handle the load, as he ran for just under 100 yards and he found the end zone. There is still a chance that MJD or Jennings could come back and take over the job, but if they remain out then Owens will be the man to own. The Jags remaining schedule isn’t that great, but if he is the starter he will still have potential as a flex play. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

David Wilson NYG | RB

I have talked about Wilson ever since Brown went down, and he showed us all week 14 why he should be owned in more leagues. Bradshaw got banged up and left the game for awhile, and Wilson took full advantage of his extra touches. He ran for 100 yards on only 13 touches, and he found the end zone twice. If he gets a chance to start he could be a top 10 fantasy option at running back, he needs to be picked up in all leagues in case Bradshaw misses any time. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Jacquizz Rodgers ATL | RB

The Falcons are starting to rest Turner a lot more as the season as gone on, and Rodgers is the guy picking up the slack. He has had 10 or more touches in each of the last 4 weeks, and he has solid value in PPR leagues. Another thing I like about Rodgers is he ends the fantasy year with two good match-ups against the Giants and the Lions. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

LaMichael James SF | RB

With Jacobs and Hunter done for the year this is going to open the door for James to get some touches. He now becomes the handcuff to Gore, and in my opinion is a great high upside guy to add to your bench. I don’t love his week 16 matchup against the Seahawks, but if Gore went down with an injury James would get a lot of touches. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Wide Recievers

Danario Alexander SD | WR

I have been talking about Alexander for a while now, and he is still only owned in about half of all leagues. He had another monster game week 14, and this now makes 6 solid games in a row for him. He is clearly the #1 passing option for the Chargers, and he needs to be owned in more leagues. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Danny Amendola STL | WR

I know Amendola has always just been an injury waiting to happen, but his talent level is too high to leave on the wire. At the very least I think he should be picked up as a potential start for championship week. He plays the Bucs week 16, and if he can come back and show us that he is healthy next week, I think he will make a solid start when it counts the most. (about 65% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Kenny Britt TEN | WR

Even though Britt has been banged up all year, I still think he is a guy that’s worth a look down the stretch. I think he might finally be close to 100%, and he reminded us week 14 what he is capable of. I don’t like his matchup agains the Jets week 15, but he could be a decent start championship week against the Packers. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Dexter McCluster KC | WR

With the news that Bowe could be done for the year, this opens the door for McCluster to maybe get a few more targets. He is an explosive player that has big play potential, and I love his matchup against Oakland week 15. I wouldn’t suggest picking him up in standard leagues, but he could have solid value in PPR leagues. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper PPR leagues

Kevin Ogletree DAL | WR

The latest news on Dez Bryant isn’t good, and this could open the door for Ogletree to get more targets. He started off the year on fire, but quickly cooled off as all of the Dallas receivers got healthy. I am not expecting huge things, but he could be a decent guy to look at in deeper leagues. I hate his matchup week 15, but he ends the fantasy season against the terrible defense of the Saints. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Josh Gordon CLE | WR

Gordon continues to put up big numbers, and he has a juicy matchup against the Skins week 15. Gordon is the only guy on the Browns that has fantasy value in the passing game, and they should be able to move the ball through the air. If you at all need receiver help then Gordon could be your guy if he is available. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Quarterbacks

Colin Kaepernick SF | QB

The new starting QB for the 9ers has shown some flashes of brilliance, and I don’t mind him week 15 if you are in a bind. He has a matchup against the Patriots, and he could be asked to pass a lot as they try to keep up with Tom Brady. If you are a RG3 owner looking for a backup plan, than you might want to give Colin a look. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Nick Foles PHI | QB

Foles has looked better and better as he gets more experience, and at this point he is an interesting pickup in deeper leagues. I don’t like his matchup week 15 against the Bengals, but I don’t mind him championship week against the Skins. If you are in a really deep league or two QB league, then I think Foles is worth a look. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Tight Ends

Rob Housler ARI | RE

The Cards offense is terrible, but Housler is starting to emerge as a guy to pay attention to in PPR leagues. He has had double digit targets in two of the last three weeks, and during that span he has 19 catches. I don’t think he will find the end zone any time soon, but he should be a solid 10+ point play against the Lions week 15 in PPR leagues. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper PPR leagues

Team Defenses

Detroit DET | DEF

It’s now the Lions turn to go up against the woeful Cardinals, and their D could be in line for a big week. The Cardinals are terrible on offense, and they are coming off of a game where they were embarrassed by the Seahawks. Look for the Lions to try to get pressure on whatever QB the Cards go with, and I expect a decent amount of sacks and turnovers. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Pickup and play

Miami Dolphins MIA | DEF

The Dolphins have been ok on defense this year, and I like their chances week 15 against the Jags. They are playing at home, and Jacksonville has had a hard time putting points on the board the last couple of weeks. This makes the Fins a solid pickup and play defense if you aren’t liking your current matchup. (about 30% owned)
Recommendation: Pickup and play
