Each week during the NFL season FST brings you our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, which breaks down players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. Let’s take a look at some players at each position that might be worthy of scooping off the waiver wire heading into Week 13 of the NFL season. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

Michael Bush CHI | RB

Matt Forte hurt his ankle week 12, and if he misses any time then Bush could have solid short term value. Bush is already owned in a lot of leagues since he gets all the goal lines for the Bears, but he is more than capable of carrying a full load. I wouldn’t use a great waiver number on him however, unless we have confirmation that Forte will miss time. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Knowshon Moreno DEN | RB

With the way the Broncos surprised the fantasy world on Sunday morning you would think that Mike Shanahan was still the coach. All signs pointed to Hillman getting the nod, but Moreno was given the job and looked pretty solid. At this point he looks like a great add, and with a solid playoff schedule he could have decent value for the last 4 weeks of the fantasy season. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Bryce Brown PHI | RB

If you take away the fumbles then Brown had a huge game Monday night. The job for McCoy is completely safe if he is healthy enough to play, but at this point that is a big question mark. Concussions are a tricky thing, and there is a chance that McCoy could be shut down for the season. This makes Brown a very interesting add, and at this point should be added in all leagues. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

David Wilson NYG | RB

With Andre Brown out for the year this will open the door for Wilson to get more touches. This also makes Wilson a high upside handcuff to Bradshaw who has had trouble staying healthy. Wilson does have big play ability and he is a great add in deeper leagues if you are looking for a high upside running back for your bench. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Beanie Wells ARI | RB

I think Wells is worth an add in deeper leagues, but don’t let the two touchdowns fool you. He had a great fantasy game week 12, but he only averaged 2.8 yards per carry. Also, he has one of the hardest playoff schedules out there. So unless you are really desperate for a running back I would let someone else use their waiver on Wells. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Wide Recievers

Danario Alexander SD | WR

Alexander is officially the number one fantasy option for the Chargers offense. He has been consistently getting a ton of targets, and looks to be a decent option down the stretch. His playoff matchups aren’t the best, but they aren’t bad enough for me to suggest not picking him up. (about 50% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Cecil Shorts JAC | WR

After MJD got hurt it didn’t look like the Jags offense was going to do anything. This was the case for a couple weeks, but ever since Henne took over at QB it’s been a different team. Look for Shorts to continue to get a lot of targets and put up solid numbers. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Justin Blackmon JAC | WR

Henne has revived the Jags offense and he has helped to put there 2012 #1 pick back on the fantasy map. Blackmon has now had two straight solid games, and with a matchup against Buffalo week 13 he should have another decent game. The playoff schedule for the Jags isn’t amazing, but if you need a receiver then Blackmon should have your attention. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Pierre Garcon WAS | WR

Garcon has been out for almost the entire season, but he is healthy now and should be a big part of the Redskins offense for the reason of the season. RGIII has looked great and with his ability to get the ball down field this makes Garcon an interesting add. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Mohamed Sanu CIN | WR

With all of the success that other teams have had with hybrid type receivers, it looks like the Bengals might be giving it a try. Sanu is their short yardage guy that has seen a lot of looks in the red zone, and has had some carries as well. At this point I wouldn’t drop anyone good for him, but he certainly has a big upside if he continues to get the looks. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Jarius Wright MIN | WR

With Harvin out Wright has been given a chance to show us what he can do. He hasn’t been amazing but he has been solid. He has 15 targets in the last two games, and he has hauled in 10 catches for over 100 yards. If Harvin misses anymore time then I don’t mind Wright in really deep PPR leagues. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Add to watch list

Quarterbacks

Colin Kaepernick SF | QB

So far the Kaepernick experiment has been a success for the 9ers, and as long as he keeps playing well then Smith will be watching from the sideline. He did throw his first INT, but he threw for 231 yards and ran for another 27. He is going to have a decent amount of rushing yards each week, and that’s what makes him an interesting fantasy player. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Chad Henne JAC | QB

I never thought that Chad Henne would ever jump start any offense, but that’s exactly what is happening out in Jacksonville. He has been great since taking over the starting gig, and he is worth a look in all two QB leagues, and really deep leagues. He has another great matchup week 13, so I expect his hot streak to continue. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Tight Ends

Dallas Clark TB | TE

The Bucs offense has been solid as of late, and Clark is starting to see more targets. I am a big fan of the playoff matchups for Tampa Bay, so I think Clark could have decent value. If you are a Gates owner that is looking to change things up then you might want to give Clark a good look. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Team Defenses

New York Jets NYJ | DEF

The Jets defense got handled on Thanksgiving by Tom Brady and the Patriots, but they should have a lot easier time against the Cardinals. They are at home and they should be able to get some decent pressure on the Cards rookie QB. It looks like Lindley will get another start, and he threw 4 picks week 12 against the Rams, 2 of which got returned for touchdowns. (about 40% owned)
Recommendation: Pickup and play

Individual Defensive Players

Bobby Wagner SEA | LB

The rookie out of Utah State is starting to make some noise, and I think he is well worth a look in IDP leagues. He got off to a bit of a slow start, but he has been all over the place as of late. He already has 90 tackles on the season, and he has thrown in a couple sacks and an interception as well. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all IDP leagues
