Each week during the NFL season FST brings you our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, which breaks down players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. Let’s take a look at some players at each position that might be worthy of scooping off the waiver wire heading into Week 11 of the NFL season. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Running Backs

James Starks GB | RB

I think the Alex Green experiment for the Packers is over, and I fully expect Starks to be the main guy after their bye week. I am not expecting huge things from Starks, but if he gets 15+ touches this should make him relevant in all fantasy leagues. If you at all need help at running back I think taking a gamble on Starks is a great idea. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Marcel Reece OAK | RB

The Raiders trust Reece more when they are on passing downs, and that was evident as they played from behind against the Ravens. Reece had almost all of the rush attempts, even after reports that said Taiwan Jones would be the workhorse. I doubt if Goodson or McFadden will be back week 11, so this makes Reece a solid play since the Raiders will be trying to keep up with the Saints. (about 35% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Andre Brown NYG | RB

The Giants have a bye week 11, but there is a chance Brown will be the starter when they come back. Bradshaw is starting to have a hard time staying healthy, and his latest neck injury sounds a little concerning. We should know more as the week goes on, but I think Brown needs to be added until we hear how serious the Bradshaw injury is. t(about 65% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Chris Ivory NO | RB

Even though Ingram had over twice as many carries, Ivory was the Saints running back that caught my eye. He averaged over 10 yards per carry, and had a very impressive 56 yard touchdown run. Ivory is a hard runner, and at this point I think he is the Saints best option at the running back position. The Saints running game is always going to be a nasty timeshare, but I think Ivory has the biggest upside at this point. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Wide Recievers

Darrius Heyward-Bey OAK | WR

With another solid game week 10 that makes 4 good fantasy games in a row for Heyward-Bey. Not only do I like him as an add in all leagues, but I think he is a great play week 11 against the Saints. The Raiders have no problem throwing the ball 50 times a game, and they will have to throw a ton to try to keep up with Brees and the Saints. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Danny Amendola STL | WR

Danny boy is back! After missing some time with a broken collar bone Amendola came back in style week 10. Racking up 10 catches for over 100 yards. It’s shocking to see him still available in so many leagues, and if he is still on your leagues waiver wire you need to do what it takes to get him. I wouldn’t even mind using a #1 waiver number if you are in a PPR league. Another thing I like about Amendola is that he has one of the easiest playoff schedules, so if he can stay healthy he could help your team when it counts the most. (about 70% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Donnie Avery IND | WR

I was pretty surprised to see how many leagues that Avery was available in. He has at least 4 catches in each of his last 5 games, and over 40 yards in each of those games aswell. He is quickly emerging as the #2 target for Andrew Luck, and I love his matchups over the next couple of weeks. They will have to keep up with Brady week 11, and then the Colts play the terrible defense of the Bills. I think Avery is a great guy to target if you are looking for receiver help over the next couple of weeks, especially if you are in a PPR league. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Danario Alexander SD | WR

Alexander had his second solid game in a row, and at this point I think the fantasy world needs to take notice. Floyd is just an above average receiver, and Gates hasn’t looked like himself, so the Chargers might look to Alexander to help spark their passing game. At some point Vincent Brown will be back and could hurt the value of Alexander, but the timetable for Brown is still up in the air. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Golden Tate SEA | WR

Tate only has 26 catches this year, but 6 of them have been for touchdowns. I am not a huge fan of the Seahawks passing game, but it’s hard to ignore a guy that has a nose for the end zone. Tate has made some amazing catches this year, and he seems to have the confidence of rookie quarterback Russell Wilson. (about 25% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Tight Ends

Brandon Myers OAK | TE

The matchup for Myers week 11 is going to be hard to pass on. The Raiders have proven that they have no problem throwing the ball a ton from week to week, and they play the Saints week 11. The Raiders are going to have a hard time keeping up with Drew Brees, so look for Myers to have another solid game. (about 20% owned)
Recommendation: Add in deeper leagues

Carson Palmer OAK | QB

I have 4 Oakland players on this list this week, and for good reason. Oakland has the weapons to put up points on the board, and their defense is terrible. So it doesn’t take a genius to predict that they will have to throw a ton to try to keep up with the Saints. Look for their to be a ton of fantasy points in this game, and I would even consider starting Palmer over some big name quarterbacks. (about 60% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all leagues

Nick Foles PHI | QB

After Vick went down with a concussion, the quarterback change that many Eagles fans have been wanting finally happened. The rookie Foles came into the game and played ok, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Eagles play it safe with Vick. Foles might get a chance to start next week, and if he plays well he could end up being the full time starter. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add to watch list

Team Defenses

Cincinnati CIN | DEF

The Bengals don’t have the best defense in the league, but they looked good week 10, and play the Chiefs week 11. The Chiefs offense has been terrible this year, and I expect the Bengals to have a decent day on the defensive end of the ball. (about 15% owned)
Recommendation: Pickup and play

Individual Defensive Players

Bruce Carter DAL | LB

The Cowboys lost their best linebacker Lee for the season, and Carter was asked to fill the void. He isn’t Sean Lee, but he has been playing well since he has taken over. He has 19 solo tackles in the last 2 weeks, and with Lee out for the season look for Carter to have value for the rest of the year. (about 10% owned)
Recommendation: Add in all IDP leagues
