Waiver Wire is our weekly look at players available in many leagues that could have an immediate impact on your fantasy roster, or simply just players to keep on your radar. We’ll be here all season to let you know which players to watch, who to ignore, and most importantly, who to pick up. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Basketball Forum.

Bismack Biyombo CHA | PF/C

The rookie out of Africa is really starting to make some noise in the fantasy world. He isn’t going to score much, but he has a huge upside in the blocks and rebound departments. The Bobcats need to look towards their young players since they have nothing to play for, so look for Biyombo to play a lot of minutes down the stretch. (about 25% owned)

Brandon Bass BOS | PF/C

Everyone knows that Bass has the potential to put up great numbers if he can get the minutes. Recently not only has he gotten the minutes, but he has found himself in the starting lineup. As long as Bass continues to play close to 30 minutes per game he should have solid value in pretty much all leagues. (about 60% owned)

Kenneth Faried DEN | PF

The Denver rookie from Morehead State has been a beast as of late. He has double doubles in 3 games in the last week, and he is exceeding a lot of peoples expectations. Once everyone is completely healthy for the Nuggets this could hurt his minutes, but he should still see a decent amount of playing time. (about 35% owned)

Ekpe Udoh GS | PF/C

The former 1st round pick is in a great position moving forward this year. He has been announced the starting center from here on out, and he has an opportunity to show us what he can do. He is going to be inconsistent and I doubt he will get a ton of double doubles, but he should help out in rebounds and blocks. (about 10% owned)

Isaiah Thomas SAC | PG

Thomas has been inconsistent since joining the starting lineup for the Kings, but he still has a huge upside. He has the potential to fill up the stat sheet, and even though he is 5’9″ I think the Kings are in a position to give him a run. I expect him to play a lot of minuets for them moving forward, and he should occasionally put up some monster stat lines. (about 55% owned)

Rodrigue Beaubois DAL | PG/SG

Beaubois has the potential of being a premier scorer in the league, and if he gets close to 30 minutes he is going to be a must own. He has been the subject of some trade rumors this year and if he lands in the right situation he could be a solid pickup. Even if he stays in Dallas I think he could get enough minutes off the bench to still have value in a lot of leagues. (about 25% owned)

Trevor Booker WAS | PF

The Wizards are an awful basketball team and at this point they might as well see what their young guys can do. I expect Booker to continue to get a lot of minutes even when Lewis comes back from injury. Booker has put together some solid games, and while I expect him to be inconsistent, he should have solid value in the second half of the season. (about 25% owned)

James Johnson TOR | SF/PF

Johnson has what it takes to be a top fantasy player. Not because I think he is going to score a ton of points, but because he can do it all, he even makes the occasional 3. In the last 2 weeks he has had solid percentages, over a block and steal a game, and averaging almost 7 rebounds per contest. He might take a slight hit once Bargnani comes back, but I still think he will make an impact. (about 50% owned)

Ramon Sessions CLE | PG/SG

Sessions has been the source of a lot of trade rumors, and if he lands in the right place he could have a ton of value. It’s hard to say at this point if he will get traded and where he might go, but he could have a lot of second half value. He might be worth an add if he is available in your league just to see if he ends up landing in a better situation. (about 50% owned)

Byron Mullens CHA | C

With Diaw out of the picture for the Bobcats, this could open the door for Mullens to get back on the map. It’s yet to be seen if he is going to start, but even coming off the bench he could play enough minutes to have value. Mullens put together some solid games earlier in the season, so we know he can have fantasy value if he get the minutes. (about 15% owned)
